It’s a little late in the season, but I finally re-started my garden. I petered out last year after the mosquitoes became too unbearable. This year, I have more bug spray.
I may have started late, but I started right. I used a tiller and got a plot (approximately 20×25) ready. Everything is going in the ground this year and I’m hoping that will make the difference in plant production.
The tiller made such a huge difference. I don’t know how people cultivate plots that size by hand. I’m jazzed to get going and see how this turns out. If all goes well, I may even try a fall planting. Regardless, having the ground tilled once will make it a lot easier to add to the plot every season. I may not want to stay here too much longer, but I want to enjoy it while I can.
